Writer/Director, Photographer, painter and artist. Cole Francis Carey is a Chicago-based writer, director, and visual artist whose work explores the sensual and the overlooked. He is an award-winning filmmaker whose paintings have also been showcased in Los Angeles. He believes that trying to mimic life is spitting in the face of God and attempting to convince Him that a raindrop just hit him. Cole’s works are abstracted or semi-abstracted representations of reality, which seek to display magical realism while commenting on the absurdity of everyday life
